During a time when the music world needed it the most, The Rolling Stones release a brand new track called, “Living in A Ghost Town.” It’s quite obvious the Stones are referencing the current coronavirus pandemic the world is in right now. With this release, it’s their first new release since 2012 and to be honest it’s a whole lot better.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards’ song writing once again flourishes on this new track. Not to mention, it rocks. According to Jagger, this song has been being worked on for the past year or so and was just recently finished during the quarantine. He also says he wrote this song in approximately 10 minutes, according to Guardian. Although it doesn’t rock your socks off, it surely is better than anything they’ve released within’ the past 15-20 years.
